Oh and the people below us smoked, so whenever we chose to sit on the patio we were greeted with cigarette smoke. The first night we discovered ants crawling on the kitchen counter, so I called and they sent someone over to resolve the problem(but not completely).
They were nice about accommodating our request however, when we pulled up to the villa, parking was limited because of construction. This was our second stay at Welk and due to a lot of noise upstairs from us last year, we requested an upstairs villa this time. Dozens of on-site activities are available including escorted tours to Hollywood and Mexico.Cons: We are a family of 6 and stayed mid July. W’s Restaurant, a market, deli, and a theater featuring Broadway-style shows. The newly-renovated resort has five separate recreation centers.
